This is the way we test and test
Okay, time for some GOOD news. After two days of freaking out and messing with stuff, I’ve finally mastered the basics of setting up subdomains. This means that when I set up the Far Out There and Conventional Wisdom pages, I’ll be able to have the Voting Incentive/Patreon Galleries operating as regularly updating side comics, just like the SmackJeeves versions did. Look, right here!
That was the one big, giant thing I was struggling to understand, so I am VERY relieved to have the basic concept finally worked out. Now, until the addresses for those other sites finish transferring over, I can really focus on getting better at actual site presentation and all the little nitpicky details. Feel free to complain about stuff!
Confession: I have no idea what I did to create that “TEST” link at the bottom of the page, let alone how to remove it.
The “TEST” link at the bottom of the page is the linchpin holding the entire site together. If you remove it now, the whole thing will unravel.
Also, now I want to know what this side project was going to be. Come on, you don’t really need that 2 hours a day you spend sleeping, do you? 😀
I had thought I’d commented here, but apparently not…
So, before it’s “too late” I want to say that I definitely want to hear more about what this image.
I had this idea for a dialog-free, slightly slapsticky comic about this vaguely alien girl in a vaguely scifi setting. Sort of like Looney Toons in a really psychedelic rock poster. Honestly, I’ve wanted to revisit the idea for a while now, especially since I phased most of the psychedelic flourishes out of Far Out There. Another thing I might add to this site here? Who knows?
